My yoga journey began when I was running marathons and looking for a way to relax my body and mind as part of my training routine.
I was so impressed with the difference yoga made in my running, that I decided to become a yoga instructor. As a running coach, I wanted to share what I was learning with my running clients.
I have long since hung up my running shoes, but yoga is still a passion for me. I am always looking for ways to incorporate it into other aspects of my life. Whether I am hiking the trails near my home or hiking across Spain, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are an important part of my daily life.
The use of mindfulness, yoga and meditation as part of your daily routine can help bring a sense of peace, balance and calm to the PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, and SPIRITUAL bodies. Learning how to create space in both the body and mind through breath work and movement can help relieve tightness and tension in the physical body, as well as relieve stress and anxiety in the emotional body. As a person new to yoga and kind of intimidated, I found Sarah to be welcoming. Her gentle voice put me at ease. I discovered so much about myself and my ability thru her guidance.
