My yoga journey began when I was running marathons and looking for a way to relax my body and mind as part of my training routine.
I was so impressed with the difference yoga made in my running, that I decided to become a yoga instructor. As a running coach, I wanted to share what I was learning with my running clients.
I have long since hung up my running shoes, but yoga is still a passion for me. I am always looking for ways to incorporate it into other aspects of my life. Whether I am hiking the trails near my home or hiking across Spain, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are an important part of my daily life.
The use of mindfulness, yoga and meditation as part of your daily routine can help bring a sense of peace, balance and calm to the PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, and SPIRITUAL bodies. Learning how to create space in both the body and mind through breath work and movement can help relieve tightness and tension in the physical body, as well as relieve stress and anxiety in the emotional body. Let me help guide you through your journey. Find the fulfillment, joy and love of life that is available to you.
Having the opportunity to combine two of my favorite activities is a gift, and having the opportunity to share these activities with others is something I have been thinking about for a long time. Whether you are an experienced hiker, yogi or both, let’s plan our next adventure together.

We will be a small group incorporating yoga and meditation into our trips. These trips are geared toward those who are fairly active/adventurous (must have the ability to walk a minimum of 12 miles per day).

Are you interested in learning more about the benefits of yoga but don't know where to start? Are you interested in adding yoga to your current training routine (biking, walking, running)? Do you want to include yoga as part of your overall fitness to improve flexibility, mobility, balance and stability. If you don't feel comfortable joining a class at a gym or yoga studio, private sessions could be for you! Let's get started on your yoga journey!
Do you have a group of friends interested in yoga? A small group session would be a fun way for all of you to practice together! Make yoga part of a bridal or baby shower, or a fun activity for a special birthday gathering, reunion or bachelorette party.
This service is available for corporate offices in and around the South Shore and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Yoga and Mindfulness programs are great tools for team building, self care in the workplace, and overall fitness. Yoga can improve posture and help relieve tightness and tension in the body (helping to alleviate aches and pains). As a person new to yoga and kind of intimidated, I found Sarah to be welcoming. Her gentle voice put me at ease. I discovered so much about myself and my ability thru her guidance.
